Jam Deck
Jam Deck deals three cards: a theme, a verb and a limit.
- Theme is what the game is about. Most of them read more than one way.
- Verb is the main action. Who does it is up to you: the player, the world, or something done to the player.
- Limit is a rule you keep, and one that anyone playing can check.
Every hand has exactly one odd card. Two of the cards give you somewhere to stand and the third is there to make trouble.
It does not write the idea for you. Under each hand is one line that asks you to look again. The rest is yours.
Lock the cards you like and deal again. Swap one card at a time. Keep the hands worth a second look, then copy them or download them as text. Every hand has a short code, such as J1-0K1B07, that brings the same three cards back for anyone.
Cards that contradict each other are never dealt together, and a card does not come round again until its deck has been through.
No account, no ads, no AI at runtime, nothing sent anywhere.

- Space deals

- K keeps the hand
- C copies it
How it was made
The code and the first draft of the card lists were written with Claude Code, an AI coding tool. The tool itself uses no AI when it runs: the cards are fixed lists, dealt by a seeded shuffle.
